Our Highton, Geelong physiotherapy team has an approach to care which is extremely patient-centered, educational and encouraging. As physiotherapists, we believe our role goes beyond alleviating patients’ pain and improving functioning only when you come by the clinic. We think better health and wellbeing is achieved when a physiotherapist teaches patients to connect with their own bodies and understand how they best function.

At South Valley Clinic, we think this is what sets our Highton physiotherapists apart from other clinics. When you see our physiotherapist David, you will receive a through physical assessment of your injury, looking at how your movement and posture contributes to your condition. Further to this, we strive to give you the tools to live pain free and moving better, simply by learning about your own bodies, and the movements and exercises that support optimal health.

Exercise classes with our Highton physiotherapy team:

Physiotherapist David Upfill takes a weekly exercise class at the clinic for anybody interested in improving their balance, strength, flexibility and mobility. The class involves gentle exercise where participants can work at their own pace and intensity level. The class aims to make people more aware of their bodies and how they move, to increase functioning and help prevent painful conditions.
